Cancelling your account/service

All cancellations must be submitted via your control panel.

To cancel your service via your control panel:

  • Log in at https://secure.firstcityuk.com
  • Click on the 'Services' tab.
  • Click the phone number (in the Asset column) you wish to cancel.
  • Click the 'Cancel this service' link at the bottom left of the page.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation.

Where cancellations are requested in writing (via post, email, helpdesk ticket or fax) a £2.50 processing charge will apply to each cancellation request if cancellation could have been completed online via your control panel.

Unless stated otherwise on your product documentation or contract all telecoms services are provided on a recurring monthly, quarterly or yearly basis and will self renew until cancellation is requested.

All geographic numbers and line rental products (Analogue, ISDN or SIP/VoIP) are provided on self-renewing 12 month contracts. The remainder of the contractual charges will be due upon cancellation.

Your account will be closed once all invoices and any cancellation or contractual charges have been paid in full.

Domain name registration and hosting services are provided on either a yearly or two yearly basis, renewal is automatic however domain name renewals will only be completed once cleared funds have been received.

By requesting cancellation you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the above information.
