The Digital Receptionist service allows you to use a single number to connect callers to different people, teams or locations via a push-button menu.
The service allows for 9 menu options (1-9) and supports unique and shared voicemail boxes – with email delivery of voicemail - for each of your options. You can connect callers to UK landlines, mobiles and international numbers (subject to approval) with callers hearing either ringing or music on hold while waiting for their call to be connected.
You also have control over how long to ring the phone before connecting the caller to voicemail or back to the menu.

Just call 0330 300 1234 to try a live demo of the service. The menu doesn't connect to a live line and has four options that handle calls as follows:
Option 1 - Sales - Attempts to connect call for 15 seconds while playing caller music on hold, goes to voicemail if there is no answer or the line is busy.
Option 2 - Customer Services - Attempts to connect call for 15 seconds while playing ringing to the caller, goes to voicemail if there is no answer or the line is busy.
Option 3 - Support - Attempts to connect call for 15 seconds while playing ringing to the caller, goes to the same voicemail mailbox as option 2 if there is no answer or the line is busy.
Option 4 - Other - Attempts to connect call for 15 seconds while playing caller music on hold, returns caller to the main menu if there is no answer or the line is busy.
No Option Chosen - Callers are connected to sales using the options specified in option 1.
Pricing
The service costs £4.99 a month for the standard version allowing diversion to landlines in the UK and £7.99 for diversion to mobiles and international numbers plus call charges. We can activate Digital Receptionist on any existing number you have with us or provide a new 08 or geographic number for your Digital Receptionist.
