Bad Weather: BT Openreach engineer visits

Due to the continuing adverse weather conditions across most of the UK we are seeing an increase in missed engineer visits from Openreach. We would like to advise all customers to call our provisioning team on 01752 638484 to check the status of their appointment if weather in your area is particularly bad, we will be able to advise you further and re-arrange your appointment if required.

If we receive notification from Openreach that your appointment is cancelled, or that there will be a delay we will try to contact you using the contact details (telephone, email and fax) on your account - please ensure that these are up to date via your control panel or by emailing customercare@firstcitytelecom.com.

You will also be able to check the status of your appointment via the services section of your control panel, just click on the line or service your appointment relates to and you will see your repair or installation appointment details at the top of the page. If the appointment shows 'CANCELLED', 'DELAYED', or 'UNKNOWN'* (*and your appointment was booked more than 6 hours ago) please call us on 01752 638484 (provisioning) or 01752 638480 (general enquirers) and we check your appointment details with Openreach.
